Mandalas

After a stressful day.

 So, there's this free mandala class I signed up for on the Willowing.ning network by a lady named Guadalupe Cabal. (wow that was a lot of links) IT runs for three weeks and it pretty cool. It's pretty straight forward and requires, a pencil, a compass, some geometry triangles, pens/markers and something to add colour with.

So, I've been waiting around to hear whether or not I placed in the Charles Prize for poetry. It's not that I'm arrogant enough to believe that I'll win (or place), but it's really the only outcome that actually has any effect on my life. I came across this poem that was submitted to the competition.

Charles Prize for Poetry

So, on Friday I submitted two poems for this years Charles Prize for Poetry. It's a competition for poems about Science, Medicine and/or Health. So I send my compliments to my office-mate Dave who directed me to the competition.
